• I have started a new blog lately, and decided to take advantage of the schedule function in posts to make certain that there was a new post each day at exactly 1 minute after midnight.

I am using Easel with 5 Widgets, a calender, a weather noter, a login panel, and a category and past posts viewer. I’ve performed NO manual modifications on the blog structure. It is a basically fresh install.

All new themes and widgets have been ftped up and activated from inside the admin menu.

Today, when I checked the first scheduled post, it was not up. When I checked all posts in the admin area, it said that is Missed Deadline. I manually forced it to post by hitting Publish and it went out.

How do I get the post to automatically publish? I really like the idea of it doing that and thought that setting up the timing to do it would do it, but it didn’t and it KNEW it missed it. So why did it miss the deadline and how do I get it post by itself?
