Scheduled import time is’nt working correctly

    Hello,
    I have a problem when i want to schedule RSS importer. I have configured to import it once every 2hours. Today i doesn’t see any new item imported and I see feed source show “Next update in 2 days” and “Last update in 2 days” , but i have “import new items every 2 hours” selected into settings. I don’t understand what’s happen. It works correctly but sometimes isn’t import items when i have configured.

    Are there other cases with this issue?
    Some solution?

  • @shendeluth Have you set the update interval to 2 hours globally or in the feed source settings (Edit Feed Source pages)?

    The individual feed’s update interval will override the globally saved interval.

    Hello,

    i have same interval into global settings and into feed setting. Now i changed feed setting to default to use only global ones to see if there are some change.

    But i think it won’t change anything.

    Hello,

    I have 2 hours interval defined only into global setting and have same issue. Sometimes it’s updating with no problems every 2 hours but today i see than last update is about 1 day.
    I don’t know what’s happening . Could be about some Cron malfunction?

    I need some track to know what’s issue origin.

    Does your site have low traffic? Each update operation requires a cron task from the WP Cron system, which relies on website visits to execute scheduled tasks.

    If you have low traffic, many of the scheduled updates can stack up and execute around the same time.

    To avoid this problem, you could have a word with your hosting provider and request them to set up an alternative to WP Cron. You can refer to our knowledge base article on this subject too.
