Scheduled, geocoded posts are losing geocode

I’m using Geo Mashup to geocode my posts.
The geocode is saved in the table wp_postmeta with the meta_key _geo_location.
If I publish the post via the normal editor there is no problem.
But if I schedule the post, then the geocode gets lost.
I checked out that just after WP changes the status from future to publish in the table wp_posts the data with the geocode in the wp_postmeta gets deleted.
