Scheduled bulk sending mails

  • Hi there, I`m new to Knews newsletter but going through the plugin info it will do a good job for my task. My question is this:

    Is there a way to schedule a large mail sending in portions? Im talking about 5000-10000 mails per one newsletter. I have a SMTP provider and they told me that I dont have a dialy limit on how much mails I can send, but I should send it in portions of 50 mails and then have a 5-10 minutes break. Can that be done with Knews newsletter? Is there any option in the plugin for such a task or does that needs to be done with cron or something like that? Im new at this, so if you can recommend any tutorial, I`d appreciate that very much.

    So basicly my question is – automated sending of emails in bulks of 50 mails per 5-10 minutes ( lists would include 5000-10000 emails ).

    Yes, Kokan, Knews works out-of-the-box in this way ??

    Configure SMPT and CRON and you’ll get more efficient deliveries

    Is there any actual tutorial for this? I could only find the CRONjob settings tutorial…

    Knews works with wp-cron when it is installed, you shouldn’t do anything. The only problem with this option is you depend of your traffic site to start every cycle submision.

    The most stable option is configure your webserver CRON, and the emergency option is JS-CRON, then you can’t schedule the submision and needs an opened window while the submision is working…

    You will see this options in Knews>Config advanced tab.
