This action is failed 8 times

    woocommerce_run_on_woocommerce_admin_updated
action failed via WP Cron: Scheduled action for woocommerce_run_on_woocommerce_admin_updated will not be executed as no callbacks are registered.

And this one also failed once

    action_scheduler/migration_hook
action failed via Async Request: Scheduled action for action_scheduler/migration_hook will not be executed as no callbacks are registered.

Do I need to do something with these?

    Thanks

  • Hi @jedimoff

Thanks for reaching out and I apologize for the delayed response.

I’d like to understand your site properly, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    Thanks!

I don’t really want to paste the status log and woocommerce system status here. Is there an email I can send it too or a private way to get it to you? thanks

    Hello @jedimoff,

You can upload it to https://pastebin.com/ and have it deleted once we’ve taken a look at it.

The system status report usually doesn’t have any sensitive information other than your site URL, feel free to remove it if you’re not comfortable sharing it here.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

    Here you go

There are no fatal error logs

    Thanks

A picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes, therefore, could you also share a screenshot of the screen at WooCommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions, please? https://snipboard.io/ is a good (online) tool of choice for sharing it here.

From the site’s System Status Report (SSR) I can see there are 10 recorded failed actions, since mid-September of this year:

    Failed: 10

    Oldest: 2022-09-14 19:35:13 -0700
    Newest: 2022-12-27 21:47:50 -0800

Furthermore, feel free to install and activate the WP Crontrol plugin, directly linked here, for obtaining further insight, and sharing it here.

We will be standing by for your response.

    Hi,

Here is the screen capture you requested.

    https://snipboard.io/5N6LWh.jpg

This may be important info. The site is a staging site on site ground and I just found out we had to manually enable cron jobs for the site. We have done that.

So do we need to be concerned about the old ones that did not run?

    Thanks
    Jeremy

    Hi,

It looks some failed actions were pushed to run more than once.

I have not the chance to check the system status report, you can install WP-Crontrol to monitor the failed cron jobs.

May I ask, are you able to manually run those failed scheduled actions?

    Thread Starter jediwords

    (@jedimoff)

Is it okay to try to manually run the ones that are really old?

    Jeremy

    Hi,

I could not see the system status report because it was deleted ??

If the pending jobs are repeated, it looks like it could not run, and the system tried again without success. When you go to the oldest pending actions, can you run them manually? If they do not run for any reason, you can delete them and see if the scheduled actions will work properly after that.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

I don’t see an option to manually run failed tasks?

There are now 49 failed tasks

    Jeremy

    Howdy @jedimoff

Just to note, since they are WP Cron events, you can go ahead with installing and activating the?WP Crontrol?plugin,?directly linked here, for running them manually.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know. We’re happy to help.
