This is very bizarre, but all of a sudden today as I draft my post and set the date for the future, the button reads “Publish” instead of the usual “Schedule”.

I tried playing around with screen options (one or two columns) and I tried checking the draft in both Firefox and Chrome. Neither helped.

So now I have to keep my posts as drafts and publish them when I want them to appear.

I did update two plug-ins this morning, Google Analytics Dashboard for WP and WordPress SEO, but this problem didn’t happen until about an hour ago.

    Any suggestions?

  • It wont happen. did you cross check the date, month, year ? Is it actually a future date ?

Did you check if your website still has the correct time zone set in the WordPress general settings?

It’s all good now, thanks guys! Somehow I screwed up and am embarrassed to say the year was 2013 instead of 2014. Never done that before and never will again.

Forget I ever said anything ??
