    Hey There,

Im new to Timeline Express but like it so far.

    BUT

I want to plan Announcements to be posted on date and time I’ve choosen. The Announcements are visible even if the post isn’t posted yet! So I think this is a bug or so?

    Thanks for your support

    Hi @bhard,

    To answer your question:

I believe what you are looking for is on the settings page (Timeline Express > Settings).

We have an option ‘Timeframe’ which allows you control what announcements are displayed on the timeline. You can set this to ‘Future’, ‘Past’ or ‘All’. However, it seems that you’d like to display events for the current day only.

I’m not sure this is currently possible with the given settings, but would be possible using the built-in filters. If that is a route you would like to go I would be more than happy to provide you with a code snippet that would get this done.

We are prepping for a 1.3.6 release in which I can get this feature added – as I can see this being beneficial to people.

We should have the release out in the next day or two, which would then have the new option ‘Current’ enabled on the settings page.

I can post back here once we get that feature built into the plugin.

Edit: We may consider building this out as an add-on, as it hasn’t been requested before and I don’t want to build in features to the base plugin that may not be used by the majority of our users. An add-on would also allow for some additional extending of the base plugin. Feel free to let us know if you would like a code snippet to work with in the meantime.

    Thanks!
