• Well, Im Not Saying That This Plugin Is Shady Or Not, Bur For Someone Who Is Using Very Critical Information In Their WordPress Site Specially (Banking And Credit Card Information), Granting The Required Permission For This Plugin Is Almost Impossible For Any Sane Man/Lady To Give Acceptance To Just To Use The Plugin…
I Wish I Could Share A Photo Here To Show Their Requirements, But I’ll Type It Down:

    (@ratingwidget)

@enelleryx117 our plugin is a “Serviceware,” which means that the ratings are loaded from an external service (just like YouTube or DISQUS). Therefore, we have to create an account on our end so you can use it. Thus, we ask your permission to use your name and email for the account creation. All the rest of the data collected to make the product better. You can learn more here:
    https://freemius.com/wordpress/usage-tracking/56/rating-widget/

Just like the permissions you quoted explicitly mention, we do not collect any other data, sensitive or not, and definitely, don’t want to deal with the responsibility/liability of collecting any credit cards – it has nothing to do with our service.

So I understand your concern, but you have nothing to worry about. We have tens of thousands of happy users across dozens of platforms (WordPress is just one that we support), I’m sure that most of them are sane ??
