My scans will not complete, either. I have the latest WordPress version and plugin version installed and activated.

Except one time, every SCAN stalls at about 2200-2400 files and 25-35 MB data analyzed.

One time it completed when I iteratively increased the Options “Maximum memory Wordfence can use” from 256 to 384 MB. It’s still on 384 MB now but the scans won’t complete.
I did set the “Maximum execution time for each scan stage” to 15 secs too.
My options page DOES NOT contain an option labeled: ““Maximum execution time for each scan stage”. There is a “max_execution_time” but that’s clearly not the same.

Should I post the server error_log here?

Not if it exceeds more than about 10 lines. Use a pastebin for large log files.

Google was my friend who explained what PASTEBIN is, so:

    https://pastebin.com/9NtReRvL

    it’s about 15 lines.

    Options
execution time is set to 15 secs.
Storage space has been expanded from 256MB to 384MB.

I too have just installed this plugin and it too never gets beyond scanning for heartbleed vulnerability and there it stops? Changed execution timing but still no joy.

I shall deactivate it for now until the bug is identified as I do not want my hosting or website failing due to the plugin, hope it can be cured as I like the plugin

Sorry, found solution though, disable scan of heartbleed in settings and the scan then completes fine? Off to hang my head in shame now…..

    Hmmmmmm …..

    Disabled Heartbleed in Options….

And it stuck after scanning only 800 files, had been getting to 2000+ before choking before..

24 hours now and it says its still scanning.
It stuck after scanning only 800 files.

ianbrownmedia – you’re welcome to interrupt this thread as there’s no other responses coming, apparently.

I would appreciate knowing if you receive a fix / answer in case myself or any others experience the same problem since deleting scan for heartbleed threat?
