    I see in Scans:
    Scans are currently disabled because:
-This site currently can’t make HTTP requests to itself.
My Daily Scan Frequency: 4 Times (every 6 hrs) – Enabled.
Manual scan button(Run Scans Now) disabled now.
How can it be fixed, please?
My site is connected to Cloudflare.

    Best Regards,
    George

    Hi George,

Sorry about the trouble you’ve been having.

We’ve added to our latest release (8.2.2) a check that a site can send an HTTP request to itself before allowing scans to run.

In other words, Shield has a check in the Scans section that highlights the scans wont work unless a site can make HTTP requests to itself.

If you don’t know why your site can’t make HTTP requests to itself, you may need to discuss this with your host.

An example is .htaccess rule that block access to a site except from certain IP address, in which case you’ll need to whitelist your server IP.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I am facing the same issue. For some reason, it just stopped working, previously it was working fine.

    Regards,
    Mudasir Mirza

Ditto. We imported parameters from another site with Shield, made changes to google recaptcha and tried to scan.

Received the message… “Scans are currently disabled because: -This site currently can’t make HTTP requests to itself.”

Other sites on VIP Mission Hosting are working ok?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks kindly
