Scan Only Certain Posts Instead of Every post to create a thumbnail

  • First off, great plugin! Thank you so much for creating it and working hard on it. It is truly a great time saver.

    Just a couple of quick things that would really make this plugin even better.

    I am sure you can imagine that as we have more and more content, having to scan each and every post to create thumbnails can become quite burdensome.

    Can you create an option to lets say only scan the last 100, or 200 posts or some sort of setting which can constrain it to not scan all the posts.

    Also is there any way for it to automatically create a thumbnail as soon as the post is published which would then solve the issue if having to scan all the posts. The thumbnail could just be automatically created once the post is published.

    Anyhow, that would really help many of us who use this plugin.

    I’m looking into a better way to scan in bulk, but releasing 2.0 is the biggest priority right now so it might be awhile.

    That being said, it should be creating thumbnails when a post is published, but for some reason some users seem to be experiencing the same issue. Are you running any other plugins that deal with images or could possibly be interfering? If you’d like to set up an account for me to test it out send me an email at [email protected]

    I use a custom-field for adding a youtube link and only loads the featured image if I edit the post and press “Search Again” button. I have deactivated almost all plugins.
