    Hi!

I’m trying to use your scanner, but when I start the scan it says that “the scan failed to start” (see image).

I went to the Click here for steps you can try and review all of them, and they were working just fine.

Except one. I have my theme outdated because its licence has to be renewed (I have my reasons for not paying for it again).

So wordpress doesn’t notify me about any update for that plugin (I think maybe because the licence is off), could that be the problem why is not scanning?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @kertres,

You can switch to a WordPress default theme to see if it’s causing a conflict.

If it’s not, can you send me a Diagnostics report so I can get a better overview of your environment? Please navigate to Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics. Here you can select SEND REPORT BY EMAIL. Please include your www.remarpro.com username and update this thread after you’ve sent it.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

I changed the theme, and the problem persists.

I sent you the email from Diagostics.

    Hey @kertres,

It looks like the site is currently down. Can you please take a look to see if it is for you as well? If so, I’d suggest reaching out to your host. Then once it’s back up please send over another Diagnostic report and update this thread.

Please let me know what you find.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

I cleaned up the malicious code of many files, and it solved the scan issue.

Now my site get’s scanned, everything displayed a good mark but it found an undefined property (see image).

Is there something wrong with that?

    Hey @kertres,

Thanks for the update, and happy to hear it!

This is only a PHP Notice and will not prevent any code execution. However, I would suggest reaching out to the JS Compos Team so they’re aware and can fix it.

Please let us know if anything else comes up.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
