Scan for previous spam

Where and how? I downloaded the plugin and Im trying to get rid of existing spam in my forum (topics/replies).
I went to the feature to “scan” for spam, but when I clicked run it started and then after about 5-10 it just refreshed the page with no results.
My forum has over 100,000 replies and 25,000+ topics, but the scan didn’t do anything.
What am i doing wrong or does the plugin not work? thanks.
