    Greeting,
I face a problem with scanning, there is an issue as bellow

    Scan Failed
The current scan looks like it has failed. Its last status update was 10 mins ago. You may continue to wait in case it resumes or stop and restart the scan. Some sites may need adjustments to run scans reliably.

I guess maybe it is due to I changed the php setting in CLOUDWAYS couple days ago.
I’ve also followed this article to adjust the max execution time, but it still not work.
Could you please help to check if the values below are incorrect, and which I have to change.
I will be grateful for any help you can provide.

Here are the settings in CLOUDWAYS now as below:
    EXECUTION LIMIT:8500 sec
    MEMORY LIMIT:512 MB
    PHP MAX INPUT VARIABLES:2500
    PHP MAX INPUT TIME:180 sec
    PHP APC MEMORY:32 MB
    PHP OPCACHE MEMORY:64 MB
    MYSQL MAX CONNECTIONS LIMIT:350
    MYSQL BUFFER POOL SIZE:64 MB
    MYSQL KEY BUFFER SIZE:16 MB
MYSQL LOCK WAIT TIMEOUT: 30 sec
    MYSQL WAIT TIMEOUT:30 sec

Here are the values in Performance Options as below:
Limit the number of issues sent in the scan results email :1000
Time limit that a scan can run in seconds :empty
How much memory should Wordfence request when scanning:256 MB
Maximum execution time for each scan stage :6800

    Hi,
I found there is connection issue in Wordfence Central.
Both of my websites are in Error Detected,I guess this is why Wordfence scan failed.
    The detail shows as below:

We’ve detected CloudFlare blocking our requests to your site.
For help on resolving this issue, see our troubleshooting connection issues article here.

I’ve follow this direction to add Firewall Rules as screenshots below:

I guess the rules can work, because there are 8 logs as screenshot below:

But when I turn back to Wordfence Central and click “Retry Site Connection”,there are still issues as screenshot below:

I have no idea what can I do to resolve it,I will be grateful for any help you can provide.

During waiting for support,I have sent report by Email via Diagnostics.

What I’ve done also includes to use Health Check & Troubleshooting to switch to twenty twenty and disable all plugins and only enable Wordfence, but the scan process still failed, include scans remotely.

Besides,I’ve also followed this article to restart Redis in CLOUDWAYS twice, but the scan still failed.

In fact,I have 2 websites on the same server in CLOUDWAYS,and both of them use Cloudflare and Wordfence.
Both of them have issues with CloudFlare blocking in Wordfence Central.

But the strangest is one of them runs scan well, the other has been failed for 3 days.

This one runs scan well like screenshot below:

The other one runs scan failed like screenshot below:

Because they all are hosted on the same server,I have no idea why only one website has issues on scan.

    Need help,thanks.

    Hey @unbosomjam,

Can you please make sure Cloudflare isn’t blocking our IP?

    54.68.32.247

If it isn’t being blocked can you please whitelist the Cloudflare ranges?

    https://www.cloudflare.com/ips/

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
