    Hi Patrick,

    Yes — good eye! This option was removed in this release because this scan was slow on many sites (causing a lot of database load during scans), and we have found scanning of files to be more effective at identifying a compromise. Our research team collects forensic evidence from compromised sites that they work on, so this option may be added again in the future if they identify active attacks using this method.

    Does Wordfence latest version now scan the database? or just the php files?
