• Hi,

with WF 6.1.3 I can’t continue the scan after “Fetching list of known malware files from Wordfence”, I see these errors:
[Apr 18 18:04:10] Scan can’t continue – stored data not found after a fork. Got type: boolean
[Apr 18 18:04:10] Warning: mysqli_query(): MySQL server has gone away in /home/XXX/domains/YYYY.it/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1803 Warning: mysqli_query(): Error reading result set’s header in /home/XXX/domains/YYYY.it/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1803

It’s on a shared server, it worked with the previous release. WP is 4.5 now and WF 6.1.3.

Hi, I updated to WF 6.1.4 and it’s working better, but not 100%.
On a shared server I manage on NameCheap it’s OK, but on another one with different hosting I still see that error even if the scanning goes on; it doesn’t stop as before.

[Apr 21 12:09:40] Warning: mysqli_query(): MySQL server has gone away in /home/XXX/domains/YYYY.it/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1803 Warning: mysqli_query(): Error reading result set’s header in /home/XXX/domains/YYYY.it/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1803

PS: there always is a false positive alert for “wp-config-sample.php” when WP is not in English.

I believe “MySQL server has gone away in ” means you are losing connection with the database. Your error logs might provide more detail.

    tim
