Scaling Features images in the Featured Posts at the First Page

    I’m using featured posts in my first page. But the featured images of those posts aren’t scaled and this is why my page load increased and I got a bad result in GTmetrix test. I would like to fix this issue directly in the theme without using a plugin and I’m pretty sure it’s possible.
    I love this theme and I like to make maximum benefits of it.
    Any help is appreciated.
