    Hello, your plugin looks like a great option to clean up an insane media library.

    I am doing some testing in a local environment and have a couple of questions:

    • The wp scaled versions – If existing images have been scaled by the default WordPress behavior (-scaled suffix ) and I click the Resize Image button in the media library will the plugin remove original large image that was uploaded or do I need to check “Remove the large pre-scaled originals that WordPress retains for thumbnail generation.”
    • Where are the original images stored if I have not checked remove or how would I restore?
    • With bulk resize do all originals get deleted regardless of the status of “Remove the large pre-scaled originals that WordPress retains for thumbnail generation.”

    Hello ebud,

    • The plugin won’t remove those images unless you select the “Remove” option
    • The originals are stored right next to your -scaled versions in your database
    • No, only the large pre-scaled originals
