Have come across an issue where photos that have been moved from the hi-res folder to the low-res folder have -scaled added behind the image name AND the image is missing from the folder. All that exists is a placeholder with the image name, but when you click on the image, it does not exist. This issue is causing blog pages that have images being pulled from the folder to not appear.

What could be causing this to happen?

Is there a compatibility issue with hi/low-res photos, this plugin and being able to move them between folders?

Is there any way to get the images to reappear without having to re-upload them?

    Update:

Fixed the -scaled issue but still have the problem of existing images that were uploaded not showing up and instead a blank -scaled variant of the original appearing in the folder.

Another question while trying to fix this is, is there a way to have a hi-res photo broken down into multiple sized photos? The regenerate thumbnails option “appears” to do something but the alternate sized photos it is supposedly creating are not showing up in the media library for use.

Thank for reporting this and we will look into the issue of moving scaled images. As for the issue of generating thumbnail images for scaled images. This could be an issue that you can bring up to www.remarpro.com as Media Library Folders uses a WordPress function to generate the thumbnails.
