    Hi,
Since the last update, I cannot scale down images that I uploaded to the Media Library any more. The images have the exact same size as all images I scaled down before without any problem. As soon as I type in a number in the first dimensions field, I get a NaN immediately in the next dimensions field. The same happens when I type a number in the second dimensions field. I have neither cropped, flipped nor rotated the image before trying to scale it. Can anybody help me with this? Thank you!

  • On a fresh install of 4.4.1 with a default theme on, I cannot replicate this. Can you try deactivating your plugins, then reactivating one by one (checking each time) to see if you can find the culprit in a plugin? Also, switch to a default twenty-something theme and check again to rule out a theme-related issue.

    Thank you Craig,
Just want to inform you that I found out what caused the problem:
Yoast WordPress SEO plugin causes image sizing error – NaN in media library.
When deactivating the Yoast SEO plugin, scaling of images is possible again. No more NaN error in the dimension fields. After activating the plugin again, problem persists.
Contacted plugin developer Yoast and informed them about the problem.

This is still happening in WP 4.6.1 and I do not have YOAST installed.
I’m using an Elegant Themes “eVid” theme with JetPack activated.

This is happening to me also in WP 4.6.1 also. Just started in both Safari and Firefox. I’m using Make Plus by Theme Foundry. I don’t have Yoast installed.
