Scale Height of Images (Slick Addon)

Hi,
My wife recently bought your plugin and was attempting to use it on her site. We are using the slick slider addon because we want to be able to do variable widths in a basic carousel.

However, when I select this option, while it does allow variable widths, it does not auto-scale the images down to the correct height. Furthermore “Adaptive Height” does nothing as far as I am able to tell.

Could you please tell me how I can get my slider to appear as it does on the slick page, the Variable Width option where all the images are the same height: https://kenwheeler.github.io/slick/
