Oh wow. Really short term before the end… Will we need to learn doing something or the update will be enough? I’m not a dev at all, pretty anxious about that from April, when Stripe begins to alert us.

Hi, I’m experiencing the same problem, following this thread.

Please let us know when you will release the SCA compliant version, my customers are starting to get mad, and I want to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

We wanted to remind you of the changes you need to make to your Stripe integration to prepare for the upcoming requirements of the SCA.

Although we expect SCA to be phased in, we expect banks to start declining payments without two-factor authentication by September 14th.

The information we have indicates that you are currently using Stripe Payments for Magento for some of your payments with Stripe. Stripe Payments for Magento has released an update to prepare for SCA. To avoid an increase in payment refusals, you must install the latest version of Stripe Payments for Magento and make sure any other Stripe plugin or integration you have is ready for SCA by September 14th.

Check out the Dashboard for instructions on how to upgrade Stripe Payments for Magento and other changes before September 14th.

We wanted to remind you about required changes to your Stripe integration. We estimate that 97% of your yearly payments volume could be impacted by new Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements being introduced for European payments.

Although we anticipate a gradual enforcement of SCA, we expect the first banks to start declining payments that aren’t SCA ready on 14 September. As a result, we still recommend updating your integration before then to help avoid increases in declined payments. Our SCA-ready solutions will only start applying authentication when it’s required by the cardholder’s bank—taking into account each country’s enforcement timeline to minimise friction.
