Says "Not tested with my version…" which is 3.8?

  • I see people are using this plugin since WP version 3.8 has come out but when I click “details” under this plugin on the plugins page, in the pop up with more information I get a notice that it is not tested with my version of WP, which is 3.8. It says in this popup it is compatible up to version 3.6.1.

    So what is the story? Should I be concerned about the warning I get or just ignore it and go ahead and install this plugin?

    Thanks for advice. I need to get a custom sidebar going asap.

    What that means is we haven’t updated the readme.txt to say it’s compatible with 3.8.X.

    Should I be concerned about the warning I get or just ignore it and go ahead and install this plugin?

    With any of the StudioPress plugins you can ignore that warning. All of our plugin are compatible with 3.8.1.
