Savona problem with upgrade from PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.0

My webhost is discontinuing PHP 7.4. It offers an auto-install of 8.0 or 8.1, but when I click on either upgrade, my Savona-based website shows this: “Warning: Trying to Access Array Offset on Value of Type Bool in /webroot….” I am not a technical person, so would not like to go in and mess with the code.
Is Savona working on a PHP upgrade? Or can somebody give me some advice? Thanks.
