After updating to WP 4.5 , I noticed when I go to save settings, it goes immediately to a blank white page. WP FullCalendar also does not no longer work, giving me an error in the javascript console in Chrome stating that WPFC is not defined.

The settings however do save as they should. Just not sure what is going on. Would this have anything to do with using WP Super Cache, where I don’t have something added to prevent this from happening? or can this be looked into to see if it can be reproduced. Thanks.

  • Same issue on my side… Deactivating WP Super Cache did not modify this behavior. I guess this has to do with some incompatibilities between Events Manager and WP 4.5 and I hope it is not serious.

This could be an issue caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

Which version of PHP are you using?

I’ve switched themes, same problem (with both the blank page, and FullCalendar not working. Yes I switched and did not use a plugin to preview different themes). These are the plugins that have been recently updated within this month. I know before the 4.5 WordPress update, FullCalendar was working as well.

All of which I have deactivated (including Events Manager itself, then activating after), I have removed social networks auto poster since it wasn’t being used. It made no difference, the problem still exists.

    PHP is version 5.5.33-1~dotdeb+7.1 .

Same issue on my side too

Same here. It is the only plugin activated, and does it with multiple themes.

It seems to post the changes, but not going to a screen can be a problem.

I am also having this issue. twentysixteen theme. Page goes blank whenever I click Save Settings; the settings ARE saved though. I just need to hit Back on my browser to bring the page back.

Just to add, I also did try switching themes to the twentysixteen theme and same results.

Another (possibly related?) issue on the back-end Events Categories page. When I enter a category name and click “Add New Event Category” the page doesn’t refresh, so the new category does not appear in the list. However, if I refresh the page manually, it shows up.

hi all, this seems to be an issue related to 4.5 and some modification to code related to redirecting users. That’s what’s failing, you’re not being redirected after saving, so you’re seeing the page that stopped loading to allow a redirect.

Sorry for missing this one, I’m not even sure how we missed it because I’ve been testing 4.5 betas and RCs for some time now, definitely changed a setting or two since then!

We’ll be pushing out an update over the weekend.

Update 5.6.3 updates this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I stil face the same issue : I use WP 4.6.1 and Event Manager 5.6.6.1.

Another problem : I cannot make reservation : the form shows and I may fill the fields but nothing happens when I click the button. Everything used to work fine but since April this year, it doesn’t work anymore.

I have changed the template and desabled every plugins, I doesn’t work any better.

Thank you very much for your help
