Saving my life on busy business websites
-
Gutenberg took away my paintbrushes and tried to force finger-painting on me. That is to say, the forced override by WP5.0/Gutenberg of even plugin alternative editors is extremely rude and offensive. Changing defaults is one thing. But it should have respected our plugin choices.
Gutenberg doesn’t even pretend to look like a document editor, (such as Word, OpenOffice, or GoogleDocs). So the “Disable Gutenberg” plugin is saving my life in several dozen sites as we speak. An hour or two installing “Disable Gutenberg” everywhere is days and days saved trying to explain the opaque Gutenberg to my people.
“Disable Gutenberg” ?. Love the shovel motif for burying it.
