    Hello!

First of all want to say thank you for developing so useful plugin. It relly helps to administer large websites with a huge number of images, for example, tourist.

I have one suggestion to you. Maybe you will find it useful and will find time to realize it in new versions.

At this time when plugin replace file (1-st type of replacing), it keeps all file information in DB (id, name, path, author ect), but change upload time for current time (like file have just uploaded). In most cases it is ok: we upload new file, so can see it at top in medialibrary. But sometimes it’s not good. For example, if we just want to change image resolution. Or add watermark. Or something else like that. In that cases, when changes are minimal, it is much more convenient, if date of file in DB (not phisical) will remain unchanged. So replaced file could be found at same date as other files uploaded with it (in one article, for example), with same order in medialibrary. It can really help to orginize huge medialibraries (at one of my site, for example, it has 10000+ images).

So, to be brief, my suggestion is to give an opportunity to save replaced mediafile date/time, if user want that. Just a checkbox or something like that. Will be very very useful.

    Thank you! ??

Thank you for your kind words and for using EMR! ??

Your idea with a checkbox looks like a good workaround as we’ve had some users asking for the date to be updated while others wanted the date to be kept unchanged.
We’ll implement this in the next plugin update.

Thank you very much! I will look forward to the new version.

Hi! I am still using the version 3.2.5 since I found the 3.2.6 version updated the data. Could you confirm if the version 3.2.7 already include the checkbox to choose if we want to change the data or we dont?

    Thanks,
    Ascen.

No, 3.2.7 doesn’t have any changes in that, just fix something. Suppose, this very usefull feature will be realised in next major version.
