Saving field mappings impossble, featured image saving impossible (6.0.3)

  • I am seeing issues since 6.x.:

    1. featured image cant be saved, even though an image was uploaded through file field (there is already an open thread and you stated that you fixed this in upcoming 6.0.4
    2. it is not possible to save any mapped fields in section “Map form fields to post meta-fields”. After hitting save button, the meta-fields select menus (and their options) disappear and are replaced with text input fields.

    I downgraded to 5.6.1 – issue 2 is also happening on 5.6.1 and 5.5.1…

    looking for a version where this issue is not present.

    Noticed that: when I type i the meta field names manually, hit save, then it will save the field values properly, and replace the text input fields, with those select menu field with correctly selected values…. I will test, if mapping works fine regarding featured image. back on 5.6.1

    v6.0.4 is actually been released some times back, but www.remarpro.com has some issues with the updating the repo. Not sure when that will be fixed.
    In the mean time you can manually download any versions of the plugin from the Advanced page section and upgrade your server to the latest version.

    wrt to the 2nd point

    are you getting any javascript errors on the page?

    I checked on my server and the functionality is working as expected. Custom meta fields are saved properly and mapped to.

    I reckon you have a a js error on your page that’s causing these issues.
