    Hi,

Thank you for such a great plugin.
We’ve suddenly got this issue where we cannot save/update the existing tables whenever.

    We receive this error message:

Saving failed: AJAX call successful, internal saving process failed. Try again while holding down the “Shift” key.

In the ajax network tab, it returns this error:
    {"success":false,"message":"error_save","error_details":"ajax_save_table_prepare [1];\ntable_prepare_size_check_numbers_dont_match"}

I looked up to these previous error threads & you told to repair/optimize the tables from PhpmyAdmin & I did but that did not resolve the issue. Furthermore, in the options table under column “tablepress_tables” we do have the values & I even changed it from an older backup (which i restored to latest version). But that still did not do resolve it.

We have around 200+ very important tables on site. Can you please help us resolve this issue.

And as a last resort, we might have to uninstall & re-install & re-import all the tables. Can that be done in bulk (I don’t see an option to do it in bulk, it only supports 1 table at a time).

    Thanks a lot.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

This is likely not related to the database, but caused by wrong/incomplete data being sent from the browser to the server.
I have seen this in the past when the “Enable jQuery Migrate Helper” plugin was active on a site, switching the site back to an older version of jQuery.
Could that be the case here?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

Thank you so much for the swift help. Changing the jQuery version from migrate helper resolved this issue.

    Hi,

no problem, you are very welcome! ?? Good to hear that this helped!

Note that the “Enable jQuery Migrate Helper” plugin should only be used on development sites, to assist with fixing any jQuery issues. On production sites, you should use the latest version of jQuery as shipped with WordPress!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
