Hi @pawkat, thanks for getting in touch!

I’ve seen this with Elementor before, where the editor may have been installed or not used since Wordfence left its 7-day initial period in Learning Mode.

From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now perform the editor actions that were causing these issues again. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

Hi @wfpeter, I already have it in the learning mode but it isn’t working. I tried to do it with different statuses (enabled/learning/disabled), but still have the same error

    Hi @pawkat,

A 403 could be a block on the server-side as Wordfence tends to use 503 with a blocked notice in your Live Traffic page. If you can see the timestamps of your failed updates reflected in Live Traffic, click on the entry to expand it and try clicking the “ADD PARAM TO FIREWALL ALLOWLIST” button.

Failing that, please feel free to send us a diagnostic report so I can see if there are possibly communication or configuration issues affecting your site that might be causing this. Can you send one to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Thanks again,

    Peter.
