Saving Avatar in Pfrofile

I am looking for a plugin that will allow me to save the avatar in the users profile, then when a user makes a post or reply, it will automatically add the image to the post. Should it also be able to add the avatar to any comments that the user makes? I have tried a couple of plugins but can’t get them to save the avatar. You have to choose the image for each post

Also, how is the easiest way to edit the file index.php, to move the post info beside the avatar? Right now the text is below the avatar,and does not utilize the space beside it in an efficient manner.
