Saving ANYTHING in admin directs to HOME PAGE

  • Hi Guys,

    I just completed two new installations, using fantastico.

    I already have three other 3.2.1 installs on this server with no issues.

    When I try to save in admin – I get taken to home page.

    I just had an idea!?!?

    Okay may have fixed this…..

    I just changed permalinks to custom: /%postname%/ and am now able to make changes in general settings without getting redirected.

    To test I changed back to default permalinks and the problem re-appeared!

    I’ve installed WP probably 500 times and never come across this before so thought I’d leave this up as when I searched there have been a number of queries like this unresolved.
