  • Just installed WordPress…wanted to update to the latest 4.7.1. WordPress was giving me some crap about not finding the install directory (like, dude….you are IN it) Installed the plugin (manually downloaded, unzipped and sftp’d it to the plugins directory) and BOOM….automatic updating works with the press of a button now (with the same ssh2 host/user/pass as i tried before) Thanks fellas.
