Saved template not published

Hello,

I am the administrator of the website where some editors (people with the Editor role) will enter the content. Since our website is in 4 different languages, my colleagues (editors) should have used the templates in order to copy the structure of a given web page to the same in another language.

The problem is that when an Editor creates a template (using the right click on a section), the template state is set to “Pending” instead of “Published”. The Editor needs to leave the page he is currently editing, find the template in the template menu and Publish it.

This adds some useless work, and is counterintuitive.

Is it normal or is this a bug ?
If it is normal, is there a way to change this behavior ?
