I’ve tried a few ‘backup and migration’ plugins, and wasted weekends trying to get them to do what I wanted. This plugin just plain works. It grabs everything and gives you a perfect copy of a site. Highly recommended.

If you run into the ‘file too large’ issue when trying to IMPORT, just follow their instructions and load a separate helper plugin called “All-in-One WP Migration File Extension” which will solve your problem (as long as your file-size is under 500MB). If not, paying for this plugin and saving yourself HOURS of headaches is the least you could do. I bought the premium upgrade.
