Saved me a lot of work!

I received moved my site to a new server, and forgot to uncheck the month/year folders before I imported all my content! I was so annoyed, as I much prefer having all my uploads in the one folder – makes finding them again much easier.

Thankfully, I found this plugin, and was able to move everything back into the uploads folder in a snap. Brilliant!

This really should be part of the WordPress core.
