    Hi…

After I customized my Coming Soon page, I clicked “save & close.” I visited my site (www.thesweetmiddle.com) on another device and found the page is active, but the content is the plugin’s default text. Hoping someone can explain what may have happened to prevent the page from saving my changes… and/or, even more important to me right now, I’m hoping someone can tell me that the edited version is, in fact, saved somewhere and just didn’t update (because I was foolish enough to edit — for a long time — within the app itself vs. in a text edit or Word doc); if so, how can I reopen it for editing?

    Thanks.

?Can you clear your browser’s cache and try again? If you use a plugin like WP Super Cache, go to its settings and flush its cache from there as well.

The cache has been cleared multiple times since the problem occurred. Again, I do want the page to show of course, but even more importantly, I very much want to know where my content went. The cache could be thought to be the issue if the content I created (my edit of the default page) could be found in WordPress somewhere; it would just be a question of why the page, with my new content, isn’t pushing out to the web. But it isn’t just that the content I have isn’t appearing when I go to my site; it’s that I can’t even find it within WordPress. All that seems to have saved is the background image I selected. So, if it actually saved when I clicked “save & close,” where is it? Where do I go to access the page, say, if I want to edit it?

    Thanks!

If you saved the changed you made in Customize mode, all your content should be there when you click “Customize” again. Can I see the website where all this happens, please (with the plugin enabled)?

I’m disappointed to have lost all the text and settings, but what’s done is done; it definitely wasn’t coming back, so I went ahead this morning and began anew (with a much simpler content this time), and everything saved as it should have. All I can think is that the plugin crashed when I saved and closed last time, taking my content with it. (When clicked “Customize,” it opened to your default text over my background image.) Thanks for your effort on this; I appreciate it.

As an aside, I don’t know that this is possible, but it would be *great* to be able to test fonts right on the page, without having to apply one of a huge number of random fonts from the drop down, save and close, and open again to see what your text looks like with the selected font. Minimally, if it can be done, it would be helpful for each selection on the font list to appear in that given font.

    Thanks again!
