• When I set up Timeout Rules, 2 to be exact, they stay saved a few hours, or even a day or two, but eventually they dissapear and I have to set them up again to my pages start updating after the time I set them to do so.

This are the rules I have configured: https://s32.postimg.org/ifw9slr91/imagelupad.jpg

… and after a few hours, they simply dissapear from this configuration page, as if I never set them up.

All other settings remain saved, and otherwise this plugin works well, but this bug is forcing me to make sure the time out rules are still working (configured) on every new post I publish.

This issue is not happening to me with 3 other blogs I manage on the same server. I use the latest version of the plugin (0.8.5.8).

so strange ?? They disappear and the exclude rules are empty? Don’t you see any other rule there?

Yes, usually only one of them (home page refresh every 15 minutes) but today, for the first time, both of them (the home page/15 min and all pages/once per week). They simply leave the exclude rules empty, as if I never configured anything there.

It’s a heavy blog with 11K+ Posts and 140K comments.

so strange issue because there is no code which deletes the exclude rule.

@emre here you have it, didn’t touch anything but only one Cache expiry rule is left, not the two you saw in the previous screenshot -> https://s32.postimg.org/wd2jlww1x/onerulemissing.jpg

I know this is weird but I promise you it’s happening. If you need me to do anything to debug it, please let me know.

Can you replace “once every 15 minute” with “once a day” please? Delete cache every 15 minute is not a good idea. No need to use a cache plugin if you delete cache in every 15 minutes.

ok, I’ll try but it’s just the Home Page what I update every 15 minutes; Reason is, newly published posts should show up in the Home Page sooner than one day, right?

Whenever we publish a new post, the home page remains showing the previous posts until it’s updated. That’s the reason why we choose to use 15 minutes. All the other pages update only after a week.

noo ?? When you release new post, all the cache is deleted if you enable the following option.

New Post:[X] Clear all cache files when a post or page is published

    (@iphoneros)

But that option deletes *all* cached files, including those of other posts, pages and category page of the site, not only the home page, right? ??

yes ?? I will implement it in the next version.

Good, I’ll be looking forward for it, thanks!
