Whenever I go into “Text” mode when editing a post, I’m seeing the following span added to the bottom of my post. Is this being caused by TinyMCE Advanced? In some cases I’ll have up to 10 of these spans added. This is a recent behavior I noticed in the past week or so, prior to upgrading to WordPress 4.7.3.

    <span style="border-radius: 2px; text-indent: 20px; width: auto; padding: 0px 4px 0px 0px; text-align: center; font: bold 11px/20px 'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,sans-serif; color: #ffffff; background: #bd081c no-repeat scroll 3px 50% / 14px 14px; position: absolute; opacity: 1; z-index: 8675309; display: none; cursor: pointer;">Save</span>

No. The span with inline styles is caused by Chrome (or sometimes Safari). But “something” is trying to insert a Save button at the bottom of your posts. Or are you pasting that in there?

You’re right. Turns out it was the Pinterest browser extension. Removing that stopped the spans from being added.
