Save preferred language with cookie

    Is there no way to save the preferred language via cookies?

    Does an English user who always wants to view the French translation of a website have to change the selection each session?

    Hi,

    The selection is saved in gootrans session cookie. It will be there till you restart your browser.

    Thanks, I ask asking for a persistent cookie, also out of the session, it could be useful

    Hi,

    We avoid setting persistent cookies. If you must have it, feel free to read the googtrans cookie value and make it persistent by setting an expiration date in the future via JS or PHP.
