Save Preferences Function
-
Hi,
Firstly I would like to say thank you for all the hard work that has gone into and is ongoing with this plugin. I’ve been testing it out for a few days now and I’m getting my head around how it works and it looks a very useful and promising plugin.
I just have a quick question about the privacy preferences section popup of the plugin. During my testing I have noticed that if I don’t click the agree button and instead click the privacy preferences to show the pop up of preferences and then click the save preferences button it appears that the consent to the privacy policy and consent to my cookie groups are set to accept and load in on the page refresh, however the cookies banner at the bottom with the agree button still appears. Is this correct?
The reason I ask is that I have my tracking cookies wrapped in the ‘have_consent( ‘privacy-policy’ )’ function and then inside that use ‘is_allowed_cookie( )’ function so that my tracking cookies only get loaded in if a user has agreed to the privacy policy and has opted into the tracking cookies preferences. However just click the save preferences button without clicking the agree button seems to load them in yet still show the agree banner at the bottom.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated and once again thanks for the great plugin.
