‘save options’ leads to my directory!

I am sure this is a simple problem to solve if you are familiar enough with the code.
if I click on the ‘save options’ button, the next thing I see is the raw directory for my site (‘/local/httpd/htdocs’). the data are properly registered though.
the url for my site is its webaddress <https://punzel.no-ip.org/wp/> and that is what I have entered into the configuration (as opposed to ‘localhost’).
I had the ‘sending referrers’ problem also until I commented out some code; I suspect the problems are related.
I am running a firewall (SuSE’s, I think, but I would have to check); I’ve got other stuff like drupal, tikiwiki and so forth running without this problem.
not a show-stopper but I would like to fix it and understand it.
