Save not working! Cannot edit forms

  • I’m using WP 3.8.1, Contact Form 7 3.6, OS X 10.9.1, and Firefox 26.

    Disabled all other plugins. Enabled only Contact Form 7. Cannot find a save button on the edit form page that works.

    There is a save button, near the top of the edit page, to the right of the form title. If I click that button, I get a page that’s emnpty except for a small box saying “Are you sure you want to do that?” The only button on that page is “Try Again”. Clicking it returns to the edit page and the form has been returned to its default state and all edits have been removed.

    Going back in the browser recovers the edited form, which I can copy to a text editor to prevent loss.

    Please fix!

  • Please include a link to your Contact Form 7 form. If others here are able to understand your actual problem, they may be able and willing to offer a possible solution.

    Enough with the boilerplate responses. If you actually read my post you’ll see that going to the form completely unrelated because I can’t make one. The problem is in the back end and I’m not going to provide that info.

    And what, exactly is it that you seem to be unable to understand?

    The forms cannot be saved. There is not save button. There is a save button next to the title, but that erases all the work done in the form editor. But I said that already…

    More words. Less help.
