• Hi, I’m not sure if I can make this query here. It happens that I have installed buddypress and mediapress where users can create their photo galleries. My concern is whether I can save the files that users upload to another server or some cloud service. There is a complement for that if someone can help me, I thank you from my heart.

    Hi,
    Thank you for using MediaPress.

We do have a plugin that allows uploading to AWS cloud(s3). If you are looking for another remote option, I and my team will be glad to provide the option.

Since the media is normal WordPress attachment, with slight modification(depending on plugin and available time), we can use 3rd party plugins for remote uploads.

PS:- For the AWS option, please open a topic on BuddyDev support forums and we will provide the plugin.

    Thank you

hello thanks for answering apart from aws cloud (s3) what other option do you have?

At the moment, we don’t have any other option.

If you are already using a plugin for hosting your normal WordPress media files remotely, Please let me know the plugin’s name and I will look at making it work with MediaPress.

    Thank you

not at this time I do not use any other complement to host files remotely and aws (s3) is a paid service and at this moment I do not have money to hire the service, so I opened this thread looking for some other option.

    Hi,
I am sorry, we have only the following options
    1. Store files locally (default)
    2. Do not store files, use the urls to embed files
    3. keep files on S3(using addon)

    Thank you
    Brajesh
