    Hello, @elkewordpress!

Thank you for posting your inquiry!

Firstly, let me note, that Save Form Progress only works for logged in users (any user level).

As for your question, when you publish your form, where Save Progress is enabled, logged in users are able to fill in and save it from your website.

It does not run on the website admin, only from the published pages.

We hope this answered your question.
    Cheers!

    Hello, @elkewordpress!

I am happy to answer any questions, so you will have a clear understanding of Save Progress add-on’s functionality.

The user can log in with a log in page your website theme provides. Afterwards, Save button will be visible to them, when they open the form page.

    Hope this helps.
    Have a good day!

    Hello, thank you.
So if I undertand it good, for each record you need a different login?
It’s not possible that I login, full in data in different records, save and later come back en search a record to fullfill?
Thanks a lot, and good day, Elke

    Hello, @elkewordpress!

It is not necessary to have different login for each record. Here’s how the process works.

    1. Your website visitor registers to your website. They receive a username and password.

    2. They sign in to your website anytime, using the same username and password. So technically, they become a member of your website, just as users on Facebook, or Twitter.

Please note, that the two points above are not controlled by Form Maker plugin or Save Progress add-on. Your website theme should have Register and Sign In pages.

    3. After the user signs in, and opens the page of Form Maker, a new button is added next to Submit button. It is titled Save. They can use it to save the form without submitting it.

Would you like me to set up a test form with Save Progress add-on, and also register a temporary user, so you can look around and test the add-on?

    Thanks! Have a wonderful day!

    Hey, @elkewordpress!

In that case, you can do this without Save Progress add-on, but regular Submissions feature of Form Maker plugin. You are able to edit any form entry and save the records.

You can firstly fill in the information using a published form. The records will be saved under Form Maker > Submissions page.

Afterwards, Administrator users can edit the submitted entries the following way. Go to Form Maker > Submissions page and select your form first.

Click Edit button, modify the data as necessary, then press Save. This process is shown in this animated screenshot (click the image to zoom).

Let me know in case you have other questions.
    Cheers!
