Save Draft Only Works Once

    When I start a new blog post, I hit “Save Draft.” All works fine the first time, but the second time that I hit it, it deletes all my changes and reverts back to the initial save.

    This problem just started in the past few weeks, I can’t remember if it was when I updated to 2.83 or 2.84. I have been using WordPress for two years, and this has me baffled.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    With some help, I figured it out. I use Firefox, so I tried it in IE8 and it was working fine. This made me assume it was a FF problem.

    I decided to check each add-in in FF by deactivating and then trying to save a new draft. Turns out the culpret was the Skype Add-in and it is now deactivated and all is working well.
