• Hi,

I recently spent 4 hours writing an article on a page. When I clicked save draft, WordPress asked me to login again. You know the capacha popped up with a relatively easy math sum. Then when it reloaded all my data was gone.

I have checked the revisions and it says my last revision was 19 hours ago. I have also tried skipping back to the page and still nothing. Is there anyway I can find it?

I really don’t think I can write that again as it was an ad lib piece, and pretty darn good if you ask me.

    Regards

That isn’t default WordPress behavior. It sounds like you could have a plugin(s) that may be logging you out after a specified time, as well as providing the captcha feature on login.

I understand everyone’s workflow and preferences are different, but when I’m working on pieces that are either technical or creative in nature (read that as “this is gonna` take a long time to finish”) I use a desktop editor to create the content. That way I have the luxury of review/editing before posting, as well as a local backup copy.

What plugin are you using for the captcha feature, and does it include any other features and settings to help control user logout options?
