“Save changes and activate” should first save changes and then try to activate

When creating a new snippet, when I click the button “Save changes and activate”, it should first save the changes regardless whether there is an error or not. If there is an error, the snippet should have the changes and remain deactivated.

Currently, if there is any error during activation for a new snippet, the code in this new snippet is lost. I have lost my code many times and feel very frustrated.

So at least for new snippets, when activations have an error, the new snippet should be saved and deactivated.
