    Hi There,

    Everything worked perfectly before few days ago, and suddenly impossible to edit the thumbnail.
    Now it’s impossible to set a gallery in a page or a post, the “save” button not works at all.
    I followed all you said, but still not working (clear cache, desactivate plugins, uninstall and reinstall the plugin, changed version…).

    So “save” button does not work, and galleries not work either, there are not showed at all in the website.

    @hector7 – In many cases where a plugin works then stops (or anything on a site works then stops) without any other changes to the site the most common thing to consider is caching on the site either at the WordPress installation level or possibly at the server level itself.

    Have you disabled (removed may be better) and caching plugins?
    Also, have you checked with your web hosting service to see if they have made any changes or if a caching service is enabled, can it be (temporarily?) disabled to test for this issue?

    Thanks.
    The issue of editing the thumbnail appears few weeks ago.
    But the main issue came yesterday when I changed wordpress server.
    I copied all files from old server to the new one, and imported the database from the old one.
    Do you think solution could be erasing all nextgen files and start from a fresh beginning ?

    @hector7 – Try the Reset Option under Gallery > Other Options … this may correct the issue for you.

    Hi,
    My website is https://www.landeda.fr/
    specially this page https://www.landeda.fr/tourisme/paysages/nature/ is a Nextgen gallery, and as you can see, only the preview image is displayed.

    This issue appears when I change the hosting server (URLs changed, DNS changed).
    I have trouble too with the media feature in WP. The system give a error when I upload an image (but the image is uploaded correctly). I have problem also when I want to insert a media in a post or page, I can’t see any image in the media gallery (the window which opens when you click on “add media” keep searching elements, and never find them).
    I don’t know if there is a link between all these issues.

    @hector7 – Does this still happen if you temporarily change to a default WordPress Twenty series theme?

    I tried with theme 12, not working either.
    Now with the new release of your plugin, it’s worth. In the window whane you click on green icon, nothing appears, impossible to set anything.

    @hector7 – If you are using the French language translation files that may be the cause of the issue, we recently discovered there is an issue with them.

    We do have better translation files to work with for French, please send us a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) so we can get them out to you.

    How can I change to EN language ? I did not find the folder where .po and .mo files are located ?

    There are here :

    /wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/i18n/lang/

    But I tried to delete the French files but this don’t resolve the problem. Even after that, the button “save” save nothing.

    @kaiza997 : you have the same issue ?

    The most strange in this matter, is the way the issue appears, suddenly.
    I tried to downgrade the plugin until the 2.0.63 (version which worked fine few weeks ago), but this not change anything, the bug still happens.

    I tried with another wordpress site, the version 2.0.66.16 when you open the window with the green button, the window appears but impossible to set anything (only titles of tabs are visible), I downgrade to 2.0.63, and it works !

    Thanks for your help !
    I tried by deleting the FR files, I can see the content of menus, but “save” button still not works.
    I tried to create a new gallery, some problems occured :
    – when I transferred the pictures, the system send me a error, telleing me nothing was transfered (told me it could be a server configuration)
    – even I had an error, the pictures are into the media library (?!)
    – The gallery contains the pictures, but when I go to the tab for sort the picture, the plugin tells me that there is no image in the gallery

    I have others problems with the media library. If I go into this section from wp-admin panel, I can see all the files into, but when I compose a page or post and I want to add a media, I can’t see any images (the systems seems to be searching and never find anything)

    Does that can help you to find the way to solve this ?

    @hector7 : I have the same problem.

    But now I have downgrade to the 2.0.63. For downgrade safetly and don’t have the problems of the “save” buttons, desactived the plugin, delete the “nextgen-gallery” folder in the “plugins” folder and import the files from the ver. 2.0.63 in the “plugins” folder. Like this, everthing works normally.

    But we ABSOLUTELY cannot upgrade to 2.0.66.16 now because the “save” buttons don’t works anyway after that.
