Save Backups outside document root

    Hi there, any chance to save backups in a folder outside the document root? BackWPup automatically sets a directory inside my wordpress installation. While this could be a security problem, I want to store the backups outside root.

    Hi @wpingo,

    Thanks. The current version, as you already know, is due to the security changes we temporarily disabled the feature. We are aware of this and will bring back the feature to save files outside of the document root in a future update.

    I’ll let you know when it’s available again!
